Presenting at an international conference

The Future of Journalism conference at Cardiff University, Wales, was another opportunity to meet fellow journalism studies scholars and listen to inspiring presentations.

My presentation on the role of cultural commodities in local news sustainability was part of a Local Journalism session that was chaired by University of Cardiff Andy Williams and included presentations by Nick Mathews, of University of Missouri, and Tyler Nagel, of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

My Deakin colleague Kristy Hess and I hope to publish a paper based on my presentation soon.
